About Jill & Dan Johnson
Speaker Bios / Background
Jill & Dan Johnson are certified Laughter Yoga leaders and trainers. They were certified by the giggling guru and founder of Laughter Yoga himself, Dr. Madan Kataria. They believe in the healing powers of laughter, and their biggest passion is training laughter leaders and sharing the benefits of laughter with businesses around the country. The mission of Laughter Yoga is good health, joy, and world peace through laughter, and it’s a tenet that Jill & Dan live every day.
Jill is also an experienced registered yoga teacher, E-RYT 200, a cancer exercise specialist, and a “Yoga of the Heart”® certified cardiac and cancer yoga therapist. In addition, Jill is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She received her cardiac and cancer therapy training through Nischala Joy Devi, creator and director of the stress management/yoga portion for Dr. Dean Ornish’s Program for Reversing Heart Disease. Jill is from South Dakota and has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. She is co-owner of The Dharma Room, a premiere yoga studio in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. She is a very compassionate instructor who brings her joyful nature to every class she teaches.
Dan is a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Laughter Coach, C.L.C. Through his coach training he discovered that teaching is one of his greatest gifts, and through his ability to listen and reflect, and also through his love of laughter, he makes a genuine connection with those he comes in contact with. Dan has over 20 years experience in business leadership that is evident in his integrity, dedication and excellent service to his clients.
Dan and Jill own Joyful Living, a business that specializes in bringing joy into your personal and business life through laughter leader trainings, laughter coaching, corporate laughter,and integrative healing laughter.
